Reunion 2008 fulfilled its promise of being “something for everyone” as nearly 1,800 alumni and family members from 14 classes returned to campus the last weekend in May to celebrate their UVM experience!

Special highlights of Reunion 2008 included:
· The 14-piece, Grammy award-winning Spanish Harlem Orchestra kicked off the weekend on Thursday, May 29 to an audience of 300 Reunion attendees and local Latin jazz fans
· A health and environment theme was woven into this year’s Reunion activities, including the Voices of Vermont lectures and cruises on Lake Champlain
· More than a dozen outstanding faculty and alumni authors and artists signed books and displayed their art at Henderson’s Café in the Davis Center, including the 2008 Alumni Award recipients Bonnie Christensen ’73 and Miriam Nelson ‘83
· Reunion families had many fun-filled activities to choose from, including Reunion Kid’s Camp, a booksigning with celebrated children’s book author/illustrator Bonnie Christensen, a “CSI-themed” lake cruise, broomball games at the Gut, and a Catamount Cookout featuring Marco the Magician and face painting.
