Naming Opportunities

Many gifts to UVM can name professorships, scholarship funds, buildings or rooms at the University. With these gifts a donor can permanently associate his/her name with UVM or honor a family member, friend, colleague, or faculty member.

Named Faculty/Staff Positions

Professorship: $1,500,000 - 3,000,000*

Endowed professorships allow UVM to attract and retain top quality faculty.

Associate/Assistant Professorship: $1,000,000

These positions enable UVM to reward and encourage faculty who show exceptional promise.

University Lecturer: $500,000

Teacher/Scholar Award: $100,000

Rewards the best and the brightest with funds to support their research.

Faculty Fellowships: $50,000

Student Aid

Graduate Fellowship: $300,000 - 500,000*

Graduate Summer Fellowship: $50,000

Undergraduate Scholarship: $25,000+

Scholarship support allows UVM to attract and admit top quality students.

Gift Fund (incl. Graduate Awards): $25,000

Named Library Acquisition Fund: $25,000

These funds are used to acquire books, periodicals, or other media to maintain the quality of UVM's libraries.
