Alan Rubin, M.D., is an Associate Professor of Medicine and Psychiatry and a Primary Care Physician at the University of Vermont College of Medicine.

Dr. Rubin, one of the lead faculty members teaching communication skills to our medical students, will discuss how to bridge the communication gap between you and your doctor in this interactive session. He will also talk about how the exam room setting can influence patients' needs, styles and constraints and how best to overcome these challenges to ensure a clear connection.
