A Message from Our Co-Chairs

Thank you for all you do for UVM each and every day. Whether it is in the classroom or on the job, on campus or around the state, the dedication and commitment of UVM faculty and staff make this a very special community. This is truly an exciting time for our University as together we pursue a bold and exciting vision for UVM's future. The six-year, $250 million Campaign for the University of Vermont is key to making that vision a new reality. As you may know, we recently passed the halfway point in the Campaign, and now we need your help.

We are reaching out to all faculty and staff to ask for your participation in the Campaign with a gift of whatever amount is right for you. Your gift will not only help us to reach our financial goal. The University's future fundraising capacity will be strengthened beyond the end of the Campaign if we can demonstrate to foundations and other major donors that UVM enjoyed broad-based participation in the Campaign from our own faculty and staff.

Every gift, whatever the amount, is important. A successful Campaign will make UVM stronger and more competitive - better able to provide a first-class educational experience for our students, attract and retain an outstanding faculty and staff, and continue to enhance and expand our beautiful campus. A stronger University also helps to ensure job stability, improve salaries, and create the new faculty and staff positions needed as we grow student enrollment and craft new programs and initiatives. What helps the University of Vermont helps each of us in turn.

Our top Campaign priority is to increase the funding for scholarships that will help students in meeting the costs of a University of Vermont education. If you have a favorite UVM priority of your own, we've made it easy to specify how you want your gift to be used. You can also elect to make your gift through payroll deduction.

Please join us in this effort and help UVM achieve "the greatness within our grasp."
