FACULTY SUPPORT

A Family Tradition of Giving
For Chuck Tauck '76 and sister Robin Tauck '77, giving to UVM and to youth and education is a family tradition. Both have been generous supporters of the School of Business Administration over the years, Chuck giving to the Dean's Discretionary Fund and Robin to the Family Business Institute.
Each is also a highly successful businessperson. Robin is president of Tauck World Discovery, a leading company in the global travel industry providing luxury tours, expeditions, family travel, cruises, and safaris on all seven continents. Chuck is managing partner of the Sheldrake Point Vineyard, a 160-acre site producing fine wines on the shores of Cayuga Lake in New York's Finger Lakes region.
Together, Chuck and Robin have made gifts and pledges to UVM totaling $1.25 million during The Campaign for the University of Vermont. Most recently, gifts from each of them have enabled the School of Business Administration to establish two faculty fellowships in management.
"Endowed faculty fellowships provide us with support critical to attracting and retaining talented faculty," said Dean Rocki-Lee DeWitt. "They help support faculty efforts to provide a compelling curriculum, pursue teaching innovation, and conduct research with impact. Chuck and Robin have provided vital support for our efforts to take the school and the University to the next level of excellence."
