Alumni Affairs and Class Gift

Committee for Alumni Affairs and Class Gift is charged with the following:

• Select alumni liaison:  The alumni liaison will become acquainted with the day-to-day operations of the Office of Development and Alumni Relations (DAR) and will build partnerships with the office.  The liaison will meet with individuals in the office to understand their roles, will attend division wide staff meetings, and will attend at least one Alumni and Parent Programs meeting per semester.  The liaison will coordinate activities, events, and communication efforts to inform his/her class on alumni affairs.  This entails education on benefits of being involved as an alumnus/a, a welcome to the office, etc.
• Coordinate kick-off and closing events for gift campaign efforts
• Coordinate informational campaigns for the gift effort, informing student of the class gift, the philosophy behind the gift, and why giving is beneficial
• Coordinate events with alumni/ae

2007-2008 Alumni/ae Affairs and Class Gift Committee Members will be selected in the Fall.
