For many alumni and current students, the UVM experience is deeply connected to the University Green, the site of Commencement this May. That connection to UVM is embodied in a new, original oil painting entitled Graduation Season on the Green that portrays the University Green at the height of spring, the time of graduation.

Graduation Season on the Green is the work of renowned landscape artist and fellow UVM alumnus Sheel G. Anand, whose body of work is known for its expressive high realism in the tradition of the masters.

This limited print, created especially to commemorate this year's Commencement, is available on paper or canvas and is hand-signed by the artist.  The print can also be dated with the graduation year by the artist - an added value only available through this collaboration between the University of Vermont and the artist.  Alumni who graduated before 2007 may request that the painting be dated with a different year by calling the artist at 1-800-734-3350.

Graduation Season on the Green is being offered to UVM graduates and their parents at a special discounted rate, and a percentage of proceeds from sales of this print will benefit the graduating class of 2007.
